Chemical Engineering Graduate Program Jumps Two Spots in U.S. News & World Report Rankings 

Chemical Engineering graduate program moves up two spots in the latest U.S. News & World Report rankings among public graduate engineering programs

The Department of Chemical Engineering (ChE) graduate program has risen to No. 16 among public universities nationwide in the latest U.S. News & World Report (USNWR) rankings. Last year, the chemical engineering graduate program was ranked No. 18 among public universities.  

Six of the UF engineering college’s disciplines — agricultural engineering, biomedical engineering, computer engineering, industrial engineering, materials engineering, and nuclear engineering — are listed among the Top 15 public programs. Overall, the Herbert Wertheim College of Engineering, which saw its research expenditures grow by more than 10%, ranked No. 26 among all public institutions.
