GRACE Symposium

GRACE Symposium

Every year, GRACE hosts a day-long symposium at which graduate students present their research. This symposium provides an opportunity for students to prepare for the AIChE conference or proposal defense. During sessions of each symposium, a keynote speaker—historically, a professor at the University of Florida from another department—starts each session and is followed by student presentations. GRACE invites the faculty of the department to attend presentations and provide feedback on student presentations; exceptional presenters receive awards for their work. Additionally, the symposium includes a poster session at which graduate and undergraduate students are encouraged to present their posters.

This year, the GRACE symposium will be held entirely online because of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. This format will allow students to prepare for the recent adjustment to the format for the Fall 2020 AIChE Conference. Please see our page on Symposia for more details!
