Summer Workshop On Unit Operations And Semiconductor Fabrication Techniques

Summer Workshop on Unit Operations and Semiconductor Fabrication Techniques

The Department of Chemical Engineering at the University of Florida will be hosting a summer workshop providing hands-on experience in unit operations of chemical processes and semiconductor fabrication techniques. The Workshop is organized by Distinguished Prof. Fan Ren, the Fred and Bonnie Edie Professor and PhD Program Coordinator, and will be held July 22 to Aug. 11, 2018 in Gainesville, Florida.

Undergraduate students, domestic and international, pursuing degrees in Chemical Engineering and related fields are welcome to apply.

Participants will attend lectures delivered by our distinguished faculty, obtain hands-on training in laboratory instrument operation, and participate in academic writing courses. Planned activities will also provide opportunities for workshop participants to interact with UF Chemical Engineering faculty and graduate students, and learn about opportunities for graduate study. Upon successful completion of the workshop, participants will receive a certificate from the UF Department of Chemical Engineering.

Further details about this program are available for download here.

International students interested in participating are encouraged to contact Sam Zheng (dzheng1@ufl.edu) for assistance in making arrangements.
