  • Chemical Process Modeling and Flowsheet Synthesis
    Focuses on applying chemical engineering technology to the synthesis and design of chemical plants. Seminars are available for process modeling, flowsheet synthesis and the application of PC tools to process engineering. Software from the seminars is also distributed from the web site.
  • Chemical Reaction Engineering Laboratory (CREL)
    CREL focuses on advancing the reaction engineering methodology in scale-up, design and trouble shooting of multiphase reactors through basic research of the key phenomena and achievement of environmentally acceptable processes. Research at CREL involves implementing and modifying reaction engineeering methodology for new emerging technologies in order to speed up the commercialization of bench scale data as well as utilizing state-of-the-art control theory, expert systems and their applications in reaction engineering.   • ERC Particle Science & Technology (ERC-PS&T)

TCC is based on CHEMKIN, and incorporates several state-of-the-are combustion and CVD chemical reaction mechanisms.

  • Wiltec Research Company, Inc.
    Wiltec specializes in measuring thermodynamic properties and in thermodynamics consulting. Founded 15 years ago by Grant M. Wilson (the author of the Wilson Equation), Wiltec has developed a wide range of expertise in laboratory techniques and in data correlation and modeling. Since it is often the case that data are needed at extreme temperatures and pressures, or that chemical reactions or sampling problems make measurements difficult, Wiltec customizes its experimental apparatuses so that highly accurate data may be obtained.
