Resources relevant to chemical and process reaction
engineering.
-
Activated Metals & Chemicals, Inc.
The
site describes a family of companies dedicated to the manufacture of quality
catalysts for industry, including Sponge nickel, or raney nickel catalysts,
and supported palladium and platinum catalysts. Includes links of interest
to those interested in the field of catalysis.
-
Catalysis and Reaction Engineering Division, AIChE
A Division of the American Institute
of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) which provide a forums for exchange of
catalysis and reaction engineering information.
-
Chemical Reaction Engineering Laboratory (CREL)
CREL focuses on advancing the reaction engineering
methodology in scale-up, design and trouble shooting of multiphase
reactors through basic research of the key phenomena and achievement of
environmentally acceptable processes.
Research at CREL involves implementing and modifying reaction engineeering
methodology for new emerging technologies in order to speed up the
commercialization of bench scale data as well as utilizing state-of-the-art
control theory, expert systems and their applications in reaction engineering.
CREL provides unique educational and contract services in all of the above
areas to our industrial sponsors and offers access to sponsors to the unique
experimental and simulation facilities available at CREL.
