ERC Particle Science & Technology (ERC-PS&T)
The University of Florida Engineering Research Center for Particle Science and Technology
(ERC-PS&T) key areas of research include
on-line analysis, reliable processing and monitoring, and predictive
models, which are all critical to the next generation of particulate (multiphase) technology.
The goals of this Center are
to understand, monitor and modify particle behavior for efficient utilization of particles in
existing and emerging
industries.
-
Particle Technology Center
Describes activities of the laboratory and the people involved.
-
Powder Page
Powder page is the place where researchers who are interested in fundamental research of
powder can exchange
information, e.g., papers, home pages, and, addresses.
-
The Discrete Element Method
Describes the discrete element algorithm for solving engineering problems that
are modeled as a large
system of distinct interacting general shaped (deformable or rigid) bodies or particles that
are subject to gross motion.
Also includes an extensive list of related sites.
-
Tsuji Laboratory
Describes research projects involving particulate flows in
fluidized beds as well as other kinds of complex particulate flows.
