Environment
Environment information resources relevant to chemical and process engineering.
-
Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (ATSDR) Science Corner
ATSDR Science Corner is a simple guide (MENU) to search
the World Wide Web for environmental health information.
The primary focus is to find and share global information resources
with the public on the linkage between human exposure to hazardous chemicals
and adverse human health effects.
New environmental health information resources are cited,
searched, and documented as they come on-line.
-
Alpha Analytical Labs
A full service environmental analytical laboratory.
-
Energy & Environmental Research Center
Describes research on all ranks of coal.
Other major and expanding programs
include the areas of advanced power systems, waste disposal,
waste reuse, air emissions control, biomass
fuels, energy policy, contaminant cleanup, and mine land
reclamation.
-
Energy Federation, Inc. (EFI)
Describes the mission and programs to promote
environmentally benign and sustainable use of energy and
water resources.
-
Energy Group - University of Reading
The group undertakes consultancy work and
collaborative projects and the
provision of test facilities. Staff are involved in
organising conferences. Programmes emphasize renewable energy
and the environment.
-
EnviroWeb -- A Project of the EnviroLink Network
The EnviroLink Network is
an environmental information clearinghouse.
EnviroLink is committed to promoting an alternative sustainable society
through the use of new communication technologies,
in an effort to connect individuals and organizations.
-
Geopolymer Institute
The Geopolymer Institute is involved in research
dealing with the geosynthesis of inorganic molecules, geopolymer chemistry
yielding high-performance ceramics, fireproof composites,
ceramic tooling, special and high performance concrete,
waste encapsulation, global warming.
-
National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences
EPR Simulations
-
WAU Process Engineering: MARINE and ENVIRONMENTAL BIOTECHNOLOGY
Research within this group is
focused on nitrogen removal from liquid or gas streams by means of
artificially immobilized micro-organisms in airlift loop reactors.
-
World-Wide Web Virtual Library: Environmental Engineering
-
World-Wide Web Virtual Library: Wastewater Engineering
Wastewater treatment and management information
including research groups, technology, bibliography, health and safety links,
regulatory references and general engineering sources.
Maintained as a means of organizing information, keeping up with what's out there,
