Brief Descriptions of Current Research
Our research
is focused on computer-aided engineering applications to process and energy
system simulation, analysis, and design. We are developing methods and tools for
distributed digital control and data acquisition. We are also developing new
tools for data base management and expert systems. Finally, we apply stochastic
modelling methods in the reliability, safety, and hazard analysis for chemical
processes.
