Armando (Manny) Rodriguez
 Manny Rodriguez is currently VP-Global Sales and Marketing of DuPont-Sabanci
International, LLC (DUSA International). Formed on December 29, 2000 and
headquartered in Wilmington, Delaware, DUSA International is the leading global
supplier of nylon industrial yarns and fabrics to the tire, mechanical rubber
goods and related industries. Prior to his employment with DUSA, Mr. Rodriguez
had been Marketing Manager for DuPont's N. America rubber industry nylon
business, a position he held since 1991.
Mr. Rodriguez joined the DuPont Company in 1966 in the Research and Development
group of the Seaford, Delaware nylon plant. He progressed through several
professional and supervisory positions in R&D and Manufacturing at Seaford and
in 1979 was promoted to Assistant to the Production Manager-Carpet fibers and
Fiberfill Division in Wilmington Delaware and assigned as Venture Manager for
DuPont's Bulked Continued Filament carpet business.
In 1981, Mr. Rodriguez joined the Rubber Industry marketing group as Account
Manager, Textile Fibers, in Akron, Ohio; and in 1985, he became Marketing
Strategist with responsibility for sales and marketing planning and strategy
development for DuPont's Textile Fibers Department global rubber industry
business. He held that position until his promotion to Marketing Manager.
Born November 27, 1944, in Havana, Cuba, Mr. Rodriguez is a US citizen and has
been in this country since 1959. He graduated in 1966 from The University of
Florida with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering.
In 1966, he married the former Elena Guerra, also from Cuba. They live in Akron,
Ohio and have three grown children and three grandchildren.
