J. Peter Perez
 Mr.
J. Peter Perez is the owner of InterLab™, located in The Woodlands, Texas.
InterLab™ manufactures and sells an environmental testing product line that
includes PolySeed® for BOD5 testing, PolySeed® NX for CBOD5 testing, and PolyTox®
for toxicity testing.
Mr. Perez has been a strong force in the wastewater industry for over 20 years.
Mr. Perez graduated from The University of Florida with a degree in Chemical
Engineering and went on to work for several large companies including Shell Oil
Company and Betz Laboratories. In 1982, Mr. Perez, and his wife Ann, co-founded
Microbe Masters™, an environmental biological products manufacturing company. In
1992 Mr. Perez purchased International Biochemicals Group and for the next 9
years the company operated under this name, which came to be known as InterBio™.
In 1997 Mr. Perez purchased PolyBac Corporation, an environmental wastewater
testing company. This acquisition created the third division of InterBio™. In
2001 Mr. Perez sold InterBio™, retaining only the environmental wastewater
testing division. This division now operates under the name InterLab™ and
focuses all resources on environmental wastewater testing, specifically the BOD5
test.
Mr. Perez resides in The Woodlands, Texas with his wife, Ann, and their two
yellow Labrador Retrievers. They have two daughters and two grandchildren with
one due December 2004
