Arthur B. Anderson


Arthur B. AndersonArthur Anderson was appointed Senior Vice President-Global Research & Development and Quality in June 2005 for the Campbell Soup Company. He serves as a member of Campbell's Corporate Leadership Team. He also serves on the North America Leadership and the International Leadership Teams.

Arthur has more than 30 years of experience in R&D and manufacturing operations at leading consumer products companies, including PepsiCo, Kraft Foods, and Procter & Gamble. He has extensive experience in product and process development, as well as R&D and Supply Chain strategy.

In his most recent corporate role, Arthur was Senior Vice President of Advanced Technology for PepsiCo, where he developed initiatives to drive growth and earnings across both the snacks and beverage businesses, and brought together R&D specialists from across the company to collaborate on innovation initiatives. Before that, he spent nearly a decade at Kraft Foods in leadership roles, culminating as Vice President-Operations and Research & Development Strategy.

Arthur began his career at Procter & Gamble, where he spent 20 years in R&D roles including Director-Research and Development for the feminine care, facial tissues, and personal care new products groups. He contributed heavily to Total Quality programs, predictive modeling, and innovative consumer insights, supporting many P&G brands in achieving strong top- and bottom-line growth.

Arthur earned his Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering from the University of Florida-Gainesville. He is a member of the Institute of Food Technologists and the Executive Leadership Conference, and Board member and former chairperson of the University of Florida Chemical Engineering Advisory Board.
