  • ASEE Clearinghouse for Engineering Education
    Access general information, press releases, and classified advertisements, as well as information about ASEE membership, publications (including the Journal of Engineering Education and PRISM), fellowship programs, conferences, national award winners, and more.
  • Biomedical Engineering Center, University of Minnesota
    A resource for information about biomedical engineering research and education at the University of Minnesota and medical device development and manufacturing in Minnesota's "Medical Alley." Research focuses on the effort to develop novel biomaterials, tissue analogs, and pharmaceuticals based on advances in cell adhesion, biointerfacial engineering, and biotechnology.

    Includes the CACHE products catalog as well as information about CACHE. Includes conference information as well.

  • Chemical Engineering Education
    This quarterly journal is written for and by chemical engineering professors in an effort to promote excellence in the teaching of chemical engineering.
  • Chemical Process Modeling and Flowsheet Synthesis
    Focuses on applying chemical engineering technology to the synthesis and design of chemical plants. Seminars are available for process modeling, flowsheet synthesis and the application of PC tools to process engineering. Software from the seminars is also distributed from the web site.
  • Chemical Resources
    Provides students with automated reference access to selected resources in the discipline of chemistry. Chemical Resources is a menu driven reference advisory module capable of answering a limited number of frequently asked questions concerning the appropriate reference tools through which to find information in Chemistry. Reference resources include indexes, databases, atlases, handbooks, dictionaries, encyclopedias, monographs, core journals and directories.

  • Institute of Safety and Systems Management
    Describes The Institute of Safety and Systems Management as an interdisciplinary unit founded by the University of Southern California. Offers academic programs, conducts research in the management of technology and has a continuing education program in Process Safety.
  • Instructional Software for Chemistry
    Annotated lists of software sources, demonstration materials and other resources of interest to Chemistry and Chemical Engineering. Special emphasis is placed on CAI lessons, digital textbook chapters, and similar materials that can serve as alternatives to traditional methods of instruction. Also provided are entries into other resources related to the teaching of Chemistry.

  • Multimedia Education Laboratory (MEL)
    Describes Laboratory and the computer based modules they have created for the advancement of Chemical Engineering understanding.
  • NEEDS Courseware Database
    NEEDS is an online database of multimedia engineering courseware and other educational material. Originally containing courseware developed by Synthesis, a National Engineering Education Coalition, the NEEDS database is expanding to include quality courseware nationwide.
  • NSF Engineering Education Coalitions Program
    The National Science Foundation (NSF) Engineering Education Coalitions Program institutions are developing many information resources and making them available through the World-Wide Web.
  • Project Interact
    The aim of the INTERACT project is to provide students with an understanding and appreciation of the interactions and relationships which occur in engineering phenomena. This is being done by use of interactive computer simulations of engineering systems.
  • SUCCEED - A National Engineering Education Coalition
    A coalition of eight southeastern U.S. universities and colleges committed to a comprehensive revitalization of undergraduate engineering education. SUCCEED is designing and implementing a fundamentally new and experimental engineering curriculum which will meet the educational needs of engineering graduates for the 21st Century. Its implementation is dedicated to the educational and professional career success of its students and faculty and is founded on the principles and practices of continuous improvement to insure program quality and renewal.
